The newest Model of viola is inspired by Viennese music, and is built around playability without losing a quality focused viola sound. This model is 15.5″ and has a conservative cutaway. Highly suitable for performers with violin playing experience, or requiring a smaller instrument. They can be custom ordered and built, if there is not one available at the time of inquiry.  Currently available with Sitka Spruce tops, Big leaf maple back and sides, and a denser Eastern Canadian maple for the necks.
